Society of Petroleum Engineers Lecture

Dennis Ngai from IRESC was invited by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Yangon, Myanmar to speak at their November 2016 meeting. He gave a lecture on “Assessing and Managing the Risk of Overpressure on Wellhead Facilities”, which addressed the risk of over-pressurisation of wellhead flowlines and how such risks can be managed in a cost-effective manner by integrating functional safety requirements into process design and developing appropriate configuration of safety instrumented systems.
